    STREET TAX

Re-Authorize the Street Maintenance & Repair Sales Tax

    PROPOSITION C

The current street sales tax will expire in December 2024 if it is not re-authorized by the voters.

There are only two sources of funds for street maintenance & repair and they are
    1) Sales Tax and 2) Property Tax.

Without re-authorization of the street sales tax, the streets budget would require the necessary funds to come from additional property tax.
